According to the new research report “Indian Diagnostic Services Market Outlook 2020”, the diagnostic services market is expected to continue growing at 27.5% for the next five years. The main purpose of providing Diagnostic Services are to promote and maintain the health of industrial assets. Diagnostic Services facilitates the provision of timely, cost-effective, and high-quality real-time monitoring of the equipment.

A recent survey conducted by the Vibration Analysts confirms that 80% of the failures in the Manufacturing Sector are due to mechanical breakdowns. Further, 70% of such failures can be prevented and the reliability and availability of the rotating equipment can be increased.

Industrial assets can breakdown or under-perform at any point, and in turn, may affect the productivity of the plant. The lack of a scalable way to connect and analyse data coming from mechanical machinery and connecting it to the industrial ecosystem has been a common problem across the industry. This has been resulting in an unanticipated breakdown despite a large number of initiatives in machine digitization. Hence, identifying the possibilities of failures beforehand, and diagnosing the root cause of the unexpected shutdown is necessary. A Diagnostic Service that eases the hectic routine of the maintenance team and empowers them with actionable insights for remedial measures is the need of the hour. Such a service along with Predictive Maintenance prioritizes the maintenance of the most critical equipment, focusses on the minor yet significant variations in the equipment performance, and facilitates the spares required for repairs.

Infinite Uptime, founded in 2016, headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra India, is one of the most trusted, vertically integrated Diagnostic Services and Predictive Maintenance Solution Provider with a vision to advance the future of machine reliability, where machines last their designed life and industries run with no unplanned breakdowns. With a human asset of about 100 skilled staff, Infinite Uptime has a global presence. Infinite Uptime believes in complete honesty, trust and transparency between all employees, customers, partners and suppliers. It highlights and aims for customer satisfaction ensuring that every step taken proves to be cost-effective, leading to a happy customer.

Infinite Uptime Diagnostic Services include deployment of an edge computing vibration monitoring sensor aptly named Industrial Data Enabler (IDE vEdge), obtaining the data on the live dashboard and obtaining notifications through a mobile app. The Plug-and-Play sensor captures streaming triaxial vibrations, acoustic signals and temperature, trends and analyses to produce a spectrum on demand and / or after every 30 minutes. These data-driven insights authorise recommendations and corrective actions to avoid sudden unwanted stoppage of the equipment.

Some of the key pointers that showcase the results of our diagnostic services include 10 hours of unpredicted downtime saved per month per machine saving about $9000, achievement of 50% lower breakdown, improved key performance indicators of the machine, 25% of more production potential unlocked per year towards direct profit, savings of 24 hours of unplanned downtime per month and enabling continuous data monitoring for anomaly detection. This service solution helps the industry to move from Preventive Maintenance to Predictive and Proactive Maintenance that can reduce breakdown by about 70%. Moreover, OEMs deploy the Sensor to offer a SMART product, performance data acquisition, justify warranty claims and explore the planned after sales business opportunity through real-time alerts.

Automotive, textile, processing, power, steel, defence, cement and many other industrial segments are appreciating the benefits of the service and solution. JSW, ITC, TVS, JK tyres, Adani Wilmar, Deepak Fertilizers, companies in the Tata Group, are some of the well-known companies that are using the Infinite Uptime solution in India.

The CEO-Founder and the inspiration behind Infinite Uptime, Raunak Bhinge has a clear vision to advance the future of machine reliability, where machines last their designed life and industries run with no unplanned breakdowns. He completed his B. Tech and M. Tech from the prestigious IIT Madras and was a silver medallist before completing his Ph.D. from UC Berkeley in Mechanical Engineering in the year 2016. He has 17 publications and 5 patents to his credit.

Ranking sixth in the Deloitte TF50 Awards 2020, Infinite Uptime is on its way to re-define the Predictive Maintenance category with many new and improved product solutions. It is committed to improving the machine downtime management and be a thought and product leader in this domain.
